How I Can Support
You may have found your way here because things may appear to be fine or ok on the outside to others, but inside you're feeling overwhelmed, self-critical or anxious. I often support people who:
-
Feel exhausted from needing to keep going or holding everything together in work, with family and friends or in relationships.
-
Feel responsible or a pressure to take care of others' needs before their own.
-
Are noticing themselves overthinking, doubting decisions or feeling like they're just not good enough, no matter how hard they try.
About Rhian
I’m Rhian, a qualified counsellor and founder of Seymour Counselling based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. I can appreciate what it can be like to feel stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and overthinking. The feeling like you should be doing more or working harder through things, but never quite seeming to feel good enough, no matter how hard you try.
I come to this work as a fellow human, who hears how hard it can be to ask for support, and who believes in the impact of being truly heard and accepted.

Counselling with Rhian
Starting counselling can feel daunting and I appreciate how worrying it can be to take the first step in reaching out for support. Counselling with me isn't about needing to say the right thing or have everything figured out before you start.
Instead, I offer a judgement free space, online or in-person, where you can talk openly and at your own pace and it will be met with acceptance and understanding.
Counselling is about you, your experiences and your choices. My role isn’t to tell you what to do or give advice. Instead, I sit alongside you each step of the way, as you explore what's been happening. Gently making sense of things together, in a way that feels right for you.
Areas of Counselling Support
You might not have a clear label for what you're experiencing.
You just know that something doesn't feel right, you feel stuck in some way or just not like yourself.
Below are some of the areas of counselling I support with, which you may recognise or connect with.
