How I Can Support You

I offer counselling online across the UK and in-person in Marlow, supporting people with self-esteem struggles, people-pleasing, stress and burnout. I offer a calm and supportive environment for you to pause, reflect and take time to talk where you can feel heard and accepted.

Counselling gives you a space that is entirely yours. A place to slow down, talk things through and help make sense of what you're carrying, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You don't need to have everything figured out, we can start with wherever you are.

You don’t have to filter your thoughts or worry about saying the right thing. This is a place where you can simply be yourself. I can bring warmth and sensitivity to our work together, blending compassion with gentle curiosity, to help you reconnect with your own voice and sense of self.

I offer counselling support for areas highlighted below. However, you don’t need to label a specific area of support to begin counselling, many people I work with come to counselling for a space to be listened to and heard, to help them understand what they're feeling and why they may be feeling this way.

Main Areas of Counselling Support

You might not have a clear view on what you're experiencing and this it completely ok.

You just know that something doesn't feel right, you feel stuck in some way or just not like yourself.

Below are some of the areas of counselling I support with, which you may recognise or connect with.

Low Confidence & Self-Esteem

Maybe there's a feeling like you're not doing enough, no matter how hard you try? Or you might find yourself overthinking, doubting yourself or comparing yourself to others often.

People-Pleasing

When you find yourself putting the needs of others before your own. Perhaps saying yes feels easier than saying what you really need. Maybe you worry about letting people down or not being liked by others?

Stress & Burnout

When life feels overwhelming, draining or hard to switch off from. You may also find yourself feeling lost in your work or questioning whether your career is right for you anymore.

Other Areas That Can Connect To This...

As with life, counselling can be messy and human and doesn't have to be tied to one specific area where you feel like you need support. There may be other experiences or areas that also connect to low self-esteem, people-pleasing, stress and burnout and I want to acknowledge some of them below in case this resonates and reassures that you don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

Anxiety

Relationships

Career & Life Changes

Grief & Loss

Lack of direction & purpose

You might also be wondering whether what you're going through is 'big enough' or 'serious enough' for counselling. It's completely natural to feel like this. Many people who reach out aren't in crisis, they're finding life harder than usual, feeling overwhelmed or wanting to understand themselves better.

Whatever you're experiencing matters. You don't need to be at breaking point to seek support.

Counselling can be helpful at any stage, even when things just feel 'not quite right', or too much to hold alone and that's reason enough.

If something here resonates – even if you’re not sure why – you're welcome to get in touch whenever you feel ready.

You don’t have to have it all figured out, you're human and that's ok.

Counselling can offer a supportive space to reflect, gain insight, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences.

It can also help you make sense of what you’re feeling, notice patterns in your thoughts or relationships, and explore new ways of responding to challenges. Through counselling, you may also begin to feel more heard, more connected to yourself, and more able to express your needs and boundaries.
