Welcome
If you’ve found your way here, perhaps something in your life feels heavier than it used to. You might be doing everything you can to keep going - at work, at home or in relationships - but inside you feel tired, overwhelmed or unsure of where you are at.
Maybe you've been holding things together for everyone else, but it's getting harder to ignore how stretched, anxious or unsettled you feel. You might be noticing yourself overthinking, doubting your decisions, or feeling like you're never quite doing enough, no matter how hard you try. A sense of worry that never seemingly switches off.
You may also not have the words right now to explain how you feel, you just know that you don't feel like yourself.
If something here resonates – even if you’re not sure why – you're welcome to get in touch whenever you feel ready. I offer a free 20-minute introductory call to understand whether I'm the right counsellor for you.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You can just begin.
Counselling with Rhian
As a Person-Centred Counsellor, I can offer a space where you can talk openly and at your own pace and it will be met with acceptance, empathy and without judgement.
Counselling is about you, your experiences and your choices. My role isn’t to tell you what to do or give advice. Instead, I sit alongside you each step of the way, as you explore what's been happening. Gently untangling and making sense of things together, in a way that feels right for you.

About Rhian
I’m Rhian, a qualified counsellor and founder of Seymour Counselling based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. I can appreciate what it’s like to feel stuck in a cycle of striving, constantly doing, giving and achieving, yet never seemingly feeling quite enough.
How Counselling Can Support
Counselling gives you a space that is entirely yours - a place to slow down, talk things through and help make sense of what you're carrying at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You don't need to have everything figured out, we can start with wherever you are.
I offer a calm and supportive environment - either online, over the phone or in person - for you to pause, reflect and take time to talk where you can feel heard and accepted.
You don’t have to filter your thoughts or worry about saying the “right” thing; this is a place where you can simply be.
Many clients I see come to counselling wanting to explore areas such as:
Stress
Burnout
Relationship
Issues
Career & Other Life Changes
Anxiety
Self-doubt & Low Self-esteem
Depression
